General Gymnastics 
Classes

   





General gymnastics classes are available for boys and girls aged 4 years (at school!) upwards. Classes last for 55 minutes and children will be introduced to basic gymnastics skills on Floor, Vault, Beam, Bars, P Bars, Mushroom and Trampette. Basic balance, strength and co-ordination activities are also covered which will prove beneficial in the development of all sporting activities.

Gymnasts work towards 'British Gymnastics' badge and certificate proficiency awards have the opportunity to work towards an annual club championships competition.

Gymnasts showing potential have the opportunity to progress into a 2 hour select group or competition squad.

Following 2 introductory sessions, classes are payable in blocks of eight weeks (terms). There are 5 terms each year starting in September with classes suspended during school holidays and the whole of August, though holiday courses are available during these periods.

Annual membership runs from 1st October to 30th September  at a cost of £20 per child
